inzight Lite

inzight is a simple data analysis system which was initially designed for high school students to help explore data fast and easy without having to learn complex statistical software. By popular demand, it has been extended to handle multi-variable graphics, time series analysis and generalised linear models. inzight Lite is an online version of the full software which goes a long way to make it more accessible to a wide range of users.

Import your own data or explore one of many example data sets. Conduct simple statistical analysis and interpret the data without much experience in coding or statistics. Change and modify the data and explore many other relationships.

There is help is available within most sections. Just look for the green question mark, usually located in the left corner. If you don't see one for a particular section, please let us know by clicking 'Contact Us' at the bottom left hand corner of this page or send up a comment by clicking on the 'Help' tab at the top right hand corner of any page.

This project is led by Professor Chris Wild and has been primarily supported by the Department of Statistics, University of Auckland, with additional support from Statistics New Zealand and the NZ Ministry of Education via Census at School. For more information, please visit our website .
